Keamanan situs dari serangan virus, hacking dan phising akhir-akhir ini perlu menjdai perhatian kita. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kemampuan mereka untuk melacak kata kunci (password) yang kita gunakan. Penggunaan kata kunci yang sederhana atau mudah ditebak menjadi kelemahan yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk memasuki dan mulai mengutak-atik isi sebuah situs. Banyak cara untuk mengatasi dan membatasi tingkat kesulitan akibat virus, hacking dan phising, tetapi yang terpenting sebagai pemanfaat situs, setiap pengguna turut bertanggung-jawab atas penggunaan fasilitas serta keanggotaannya di sebuah site. Melalui tulisan ini kita coba meningkatkan keamanan sebuah site, dengan cara berpartisipasi meningkatkan penggunaan Kata kunci (password) yang lebih aman.

How to Choose a Secure Password: There are plenty of ways to come up with passwords that meets the criteria above. Method 1: Use the first character of each word in a phrase, song or poem to create a "mnemonic". For instance:

Method 2: Alternate between one consonant and one or two vowels. This provides nonsense words that are usually pronounceable, and thus easily remembered. Examples: routboofip or quadpopgoor. Then exchange some letters for numbers, and capitalize some of the letters: routb00fIP QU@dp0pgooR Method 3: Choose three short words and paste them together with a punctuation and numbers between them.
